Jan 10, 2024 · I received an email last week and a letter today from the ISP saying my CCL is set to expire 7-2-24. How far out is it safe/wise to do this? I wondered if I applied today nearly 6 months out if they might issue a new FOID/CCL with an expiration date from the day it was processed rather than July 2, when the current one expires.

Dec 19, 2021 · If you don't renew your CCL and your FOID remains valid you end up having a FOID that says you have a CCL when you don't. I think what they meant is that your foid will indicate whether or not you also have a CCL . I think we will still be issued separate CCL cards. I have recently renewed my FOID & my CCL is valid til 2024.

Aug 19, 2019 · You do not need to update your physical DL to your new address in order to change the address on your FOID/CCL. All that matters is that your DL address is updated in the SoS system. I moved last Fall, updated everything online, had new CCL and FOID in hand in a matter of weeks, and still have my physical DL with the old address. Thank you.

Aug 30, 2024 · I let my CCL expire. What do I do now? I can't seem to find an answer if I take the 3hr renewal or I start again for 16 hrs.

Apr 6, 2018 · Today, CCL instructors received the new certificate templates for the 3-hr renewal course and the regular 8/16 hrs. CCL course, along with instructor responsibilities packet, suggested roster, and suggested verification of prior training form.

Apr 9, 2014 · The denial letters sent out by the ISP inform applicants that they can appeal a CCL Review Board denial by filing an appeal called an Administrative Review Complaint. There is a 35 day deadline to file and the appeal must be filed in the circuit court in the county where you live. Some members have shared some examples of what they are filing.
