For our 30th anniversary this year we're compiling a list of the 100 greatest games released since Edge's launch in October 1993. As well as contributions from our editorial team, the countdown will be based on nominations from Edge readers. Importantly, this will be unlike the type of collection we have compiled in the past.

Sep 28, 2016 · Sure, modern games are prettier and typically offer more than many old games, but to write off so much of gaming's past as inferior to bargain bucket current gen titles is disingenuous and imbecilic - especially when the person you keep restating all this to is taking about emulated classics rather than the likes of Ski Free.

Jul 7, 2022 · we noticed that Microsoft pushed built-in games in the Edge browser with some newer version. I can see them in the 3-dot menu below "Downloads" and "Apps". First idea was to simply block the URLs behind the games on our Firewall. The web filter detects the URLs behind the games as actual games, but doesn't seem to be able to properly block them.

Apr 3, 2023 · I'm not even certain that the issue the tech was referencing applies to me. I'm running 1440p @ 144hz. Everything else, including Chrome and Firefox, is buttery smooth. I haven't changed anything with Edge aside from disabling the obnoxious Bing sidebar and I haven't updated my graphics drivers recently.

Apr 5, 2023 · Today i noticed that my microsoft edge app has alot of stuttering issues. videos on youtube run with what feels like 30 fps or less. my pc itself runs perfectly fine. videos on my drive run perfect, games are running smooth and 144 hz is activated in nvcp.

Ive actually had the opposite problem intermittently. When I play games on my primary monitor, videos get really choppy. It could be in browser or through a local file. Usually reinstalling my drivers will fix it for a bit, but I'll definitely try this. I have a 3080 and 5600x, so I'd assume it should be able to handle something as basic as that.
