A house fire that claimed the life of a woman in southwest Oklahoma City is now being investigated as a homicide, according to the Oklahoma City Police Department.

Lubbock Fire Rescue and the Lubbock police department responded to the fire near 103rd and Upland Avenue around 12:35 a.m.

Police say a woman found dead in a southwest Oklahoma City house fire last week had injuries consistent with homicide.
