During a conversation with her Black Widow co-star David Harbour for Interview magazine, Johansson was congratulated for being an executive producer on the film Thunderbolts*.

Johansson's last appearance in the MCU was in Black Widow (2021), following the death of her character in Avengers: Endgame (2019) Scarlett Johansson isn't taking credit for Thunderbolts*.

Harbour then pointed out that Johansson was an executive producer on Thunderbolts*, prompted the credit request reveal. Harbour joked, "You hated the film that much?" But she was quick to clap back.
