Billy Joel has been diagnosed with normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH), leading to the cancellation of his tour and absence from a documentary premiere.

Joel crashed his Mercedes-Benz into a tree in Sag Harbor, New York, in 2003, and into an empty house in Bayville, New York, in 2004.
