Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj today and took a holy dip at the Sangam. Accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, he also took a boat ride from Arail Ghat to the Triveni Sangam -- the confluence of holy rivers Ganga, Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati.

The Maha Kumbh 2025, which commenced on Paush Purnima (January 13, 2025), is the world's largest spiritual and cultural gathering, attracting devotees from across the globe. The Mahakumbh will continue until Mahashivratri on February 26.
