Boeing 787 Dreamliner — with 242 people on board crashed into a medical college complex in the Meghaninagar area moments after taking off from the airport on Thursday afternoon.
An Air India plane with more than 200 people on board crashed near the airport in India's city of Ahmedabad, the airline and police officials said.
The only survivor of the tragic Air India plane crash recalled his experience of walking off the plane after the accident. Viswash Kumar Ramesh, a British national, was onboard the doomed flight AI171, which took off from Ahmedabad on Thursday 12 June, bound for London Gatwick.
This comes nearly a month after a Turkish company managing operations at nine major Indian airports lost its security clearance, following Ankara's stance supporting Pakistan during Operation Sindoor.
Relatives have confirmed a British family of four died on the doomed Air India flight as they slam the British Foreign Office for their lack of support.
