On February 1, 2025, five (5) days after President Trump fired NLRB Member Gwynne A. Wilcox, and NLRB General Counsel Jennifer A. Abruzzo,

Gwynne Wilcox, who was appointed to the board by former President Joe Biden, said in a lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia that her firing last week violated U.S. law.

This extraordinary act, which was not only contrary to statute but clearly unlawful under a 90-year-old Supreme Court precedent.
