The cause of a deadly fire​ at the Gabriel House assisted living home in Fall River, Massachusetts has been narrowed to two possibilities.

Resident Steven Oldrid alleged that he was “trapped in his room, suffered smoke inhalation, respiratory distress, and loss of consciousness” during the July 13 blaze.

Flags on city buildings will be lowered to half staff for the next five days in recognition and remembrance of Gabriel House fire victims.
