The Edmonton Oilers took down the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 1 of their second-round postseason series. Despite going down 0-2 in the game, Edmonton was able to complete the comeback once again, showing its continued resilience in the postseason.

The Edmonton Oilers winning the first game of a playoff series was rare. Coming from behind to do it was not. Edmonton's 4-2 victory at T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday to kick off a second-round series against the Vegas Golden Knights was just the third time in six straight years of reaching the playoffs that the Oilers won a series opener.

The Oilers secured their fifth straight come-from-behind win — an NHL playoff record — when they defeated the Golden Knights 4-2 in Game 1.
