Taylor Hospital in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, will close Saturday morning, days after a federal bankruptcy judge approved Prospect Medical Holdings' plan to close Crozer Health. Friday was the last full day the hospital stayed open.

Taylor Hospital has officially closed its doors after the Crozer Health shutdown. A new study found that this grandparent's positive influence on a child who had experienced trauma can extend for years.

Crozer-Chester Medical Center and Taylor Hospital saw a combined 78,000 emergency room patients a year and those will now have to go to other already overburdened hospitals farther away.
