SAN FRANCISCO — AT&T agreed to pay a total of $177 million to settle a class action lawsuit about two "data incidents" from 2024.
To receive the top payment of $2,500 in the second breach, you would again have to prove that any losses you experienced on or after April 14, 2024, are “fairly traceable” to the 2022 incident. If you were an AT&T account owner at the time, you can also submit claims on behalf of other users on your plan.
To file a claim, you can fill out the form on the settlement website or mail it to the Settlement Administrator at AT&T Data Incident Settlement, c/o Kroll Settlement Administration LLC, P.O. Box 5324, New York, NY 10150-5324.
