Millions of California residents were placed under a red flag warning through Thursday amid threats of further fires with looming winds in the forecast, according to multiple reports.

Another round of Santa Ana winds in the forecast led to the extension of a Red Flag Warning for parts of San Diego County.

The National Weather Service warned that single-digit humidity and strong wind gusts on Thursday and into early Friday could create critical fire weather conditions throughout the
