Klint Kubiak ran the damn ball to get Seattle out of its brief rut. Jacardia Wright and newly signed Anthony Tyus did the heavy lifting, with Jalen Milroe finally getting a chance to make a couple of nice throws to Marshall Lang and Tyrone Broden along the way. Wright finished off the drive with a 1-yard plunge to extend the lead back up to 23-13.

Pete Carroll’s Seattle return ended without a winner when Jalan Gaines blocked Daniel Carlson’s 55-yard field-goal try for Las Vegas as time expired, leaving the Raiders and Seahawks tied at 23 on Thursday night.

In his return both to Seattle and the NFL, Pete Carroll watched his new team, the Las Vegas Raiders, rally to nearly win their preseason opener with the Seahawks.
