Strong winds in the past couple of days have fanned the Greer Fire, which has burned more than 7,000 acres in eastern Arizona. Departments from all across the state have sent in crews to help battle the fire.

High winds and rugged terrain are posing challenges for crews battling the destructive Greer Fire in eastern Arizona's White Mountains.

A fire in the small Arizona community of Greer in the eastern part of the state prompted evacuations after it grew to 3,500 acres in one day.

Kenzie Beach has the latest on the Greer Fire that has forced several residents in eastern Arizona to flee from their homes. It has grown to more than 7,000 acres as of May 14.
