Chicago Cubs rookie Cade Horton Horton left Sunday’s game in the sixth inning with a 1-0 lead, but the Cubs lost 6-1. It was Horton’s fourth no-decision of the season.

The Red Sox scored six runs in the fifth and avoided a three-game series sweep at Citizens Bank Park, taking a 9-8 win in 11 innings. The Phils dropped to 58-44 and Boston improved to 55-49.
