Peter Kay has shown his support for telly star Paddy McGuinness who is currently embarking on his Radio 2 Ultra Endurance Cycle Challenge for BBC Children In Need

Paddy McGuinness is currently making a 300-mile journey from Wrexham AFC to Glasgow as part of his Ultra Endurance Cycle Challenge for Children in Need.

Vernon Kay was left in tears as BBC Radio 2 listeners shared their own Children In Need stories amid supporting Paddy McGuinness’ Ultra Endurance Challenge for the charity. McGuinness - who presents his own show on the station - has pledged to cycle 300 miles through Wales, England and Scotland in just five days.

Paddy McGuinness was overcome with emotion as he revealed just how much money he has raised for Children in Need by taking on the Ultra Endurance Cycle Challenge

Breaking out into fits of laughter following the message, Paddy told Zoe: “He peps me up, that lad. That’s brilliant. Aww, that’s lovely, thank you. He sent it in - he’ll probably invoice you for it, knowing him.”
