Representative Mark Green, R.-Tenn., endorses Matt Van Epps for the special election in Tennessee's 7th Congressional District.

West Point graduate Matt Van Epps receives endorsement from retiring Rep. Mark Green for Tennessee's 7th congressional district seat after Green announced he won't seek reelection.

Since August, Matthew has had seven surgeries to remove the tumor. Van Epps took time off work and had to leave her other child, 7-year-old Alexis, with family so she could remain at the hospital.

Van Epps launched his campaign two days after Green's announcement. "Matt Van Epps has my complete and total endorsement," Green shared in a statement with Fox News.
