Groundhog Day isn't until February, but here in Houston it may as well be buried in the middle of the summer. Hot and sticky afternoons leading to possible storms in the evening? That's been the case for weeks now. But some changes may be taking place as the work week starts up in Southeast Texas.

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will return to the area on Tuesday and Wednesday, potentially causing isolated street flooding.

Models show lower rain chances Sunday and Monday. With that comes plenty of sunshine helping temperatures rise to the upper 90s on Sunday.
