Prisma Health will no longer have a dedicated COVID-19 unit at North Greenville Hospital because of the decrease in hospitalized COVID-19 patients in the Upstate, hospital officials said on Thursday.

Prisma Health set a record Tuesday, treating a total of 568 COVID-19 patients at 11 hospitals in the Columbia and Greenville markets, according to the website for the state's largest hospital system.
