Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur may have to wait until the end of the transfer window to do a deal for Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze as the Eagles are reportedly intent on keeping their star forward for this month’s key Conference League qualifiers.

According to The Independent's Miguel Delaney, Eze does have a "first preference" between Arsenal and Tottenham. The reliable journalist has revealed that the club he'd rather join is Arsenal, but that isn't to completely discount Thomas Frank's side, as Eze remains open to potentially signing for them as well.

Eberechi Eze still favours a transfer to Arsenal after Tottenham opened talks to sign the Crystal Palace midfielder, according to reports. Eze has been on Arsenal’s shortlist summer but Mikel Arteta’s side have prioritised deals for Viktor Gyokeres and Noni Madueke.
