The much-anticipated partnership between Los Angeles Lakers stars LeBron James and Luka Doncic is on hold, with James set to be out for at least a week, if not longer. The Lakers have decided to send him back to L.

Rich Paul, James' agent, said during an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" that he won't put a timetable on James' return, although an initial report indicated that the superstar is expected to miss at least a week or two of action (h/t Lakers Nation).

The Lakers and LeBron James are unsure when exactly he'll return from a groin injury, but he'll likely miss at least one to two weeks.
