Auckland golfer Ryan Fox has missed out on a maiden appearance in the lucrative PGA Tour Championship. Fox finished 43rd in the second FedEx Cup play-off tournament, the BMW Championship in Maryland.

Ryan Fox won his maiden PGA Tour win at Myrtle Beach Classic in May and followed it up with another victory at the RBC Canadian Open.
