The Los Angeles Clippers are proving to be real contenders in the Western Conference. On Thursday night, Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers walloped the Denver Nuggets 117-83 to take a 2-1 lead in their Western Conference quarterfinal playoff series.

Kawhi Leonard missed the Paris Olympics and played in just 37 regular-season games for the Clippers. But when he's on the court, he's unstoppable.

A Kawhi Leonard masterclass (39 points on 15-for-19 shooting from the field) got them the win in Game 1, but it was more of a team effort this time around. Leonard was the Clippers' leading scorer with 21 points to go with 11 rebounds and six assists, while James Harden and Norman Powell finished with 20 points each.
