The suspect in the murder of 18-year-old Kylee Monteiro faced a judge Wednesday morning where prosecutors recounted Gregory Groom's confession in the incident to Rehoboth police.

The day before prosecutors say her boyfriend stabbed her three times, 18-year-old Kylee Monteiro sent an ominous warning to her sister: "If I die it was Greg."

REHOBOTH, Mass. (WPRI) — The family of a missing 18-year-old woman from Rehoboth is holding a vigil this weekend. Kylee Monteiro’s sister told 12 News they will be gathering at 7 p.m. Saturday near the Gazebo at Redway Plain. The address is 401 Winthrop St., which is off Route 44.

REHOBOTH, Mass. — Friday marks the eighth day that 18-year-old Kylee Monteiro has been missing. Monteiro, who is 11 weeks pregnant, was last seen on Thursday, August 7, at her boyfriend’s home in Rehoboth, Massachusetts, according to family, friends, and law enforcement.

The 22-year-old boyfriend of a pregnant teenager who went missing admitted to police that he had gotten physical with her during an argument.

The Rehoboth Police Department told NBC 10 on Friday that it isn’t classifying the search for a pregnant woman an investigation.

A search is underway for an 18-year-old woman who disappeared a week ago from Rehoboth, Massachusetts, police and her family said. Kylee Monteiro is 11 weeks pregnant and has been missing since Aug. 7, her sister told ABC News. "This is not like her at all. This is completely unusual and very scary, to say the least," Faith Monteiro said Thursday.
