John Foster ‘s cowboy hat is basically a part of him, so don’t expect to see him without it on television. Ahead of the American Idol finale, John revealed why he won’t be taking off his favorite accessory during the final episode of the season.

John Foster, a Top 3 finalist on Season 23 of American Idol, is coming home to West Baton Rouge. The West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office is encouraging everyone to welcome him home in true Louisiana style.

After the remaining five competitors each gave their all with their renditions of hit Disney songs Monday night, America voted for the Top 3 singers and said goodbye to Thunderstorm Artis and Slater Nalley. The Top 3 will compete in the finale next week and head to their hometowns for a special visit.
