India's Sanju Samson has floored the South African bowlers in the first T20I being held at Kingsmead, Durban. Samson, who opened the innings, has smashed a whirlwind century. He has shared two pivotal stands alongside Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma.

Sanju Samson continued from where he left in Hyderabad as he began the T20I series in South Africa with a 47-ball hundred in Durban on November 8. Samson became only the fourth Indian to hit multiple hundreds in T20I cricket.

Sanju Samson carried his form from the 3rd T20I against Bangladesh to the first match against South Africa in Durban. Samson created history for India during the series opener in Kingsmead as he became the first Indian with centuries in back-to-back T20I innings.

Sanju Samson broke a plethora of records during his 107-run knock against South Africa in the first T20I at Kingsmead Durban.

Sanju Samson’s 107 came in 50 balls which included seven fours and 10 sixes. He reached his hundred in just 47 balls.

This remarkable innings follows his recent 111 off 47 balls against Bangladesh, where he struck 11 fours and eight sixes.

Sanju Samson etched his name in the history books, becoming the first Indian batsman to achieve consecutive centuries in T20 internationals. His explosive knock of 107 runs against South Africa in Durban showcased his exceptional batting prowess.
