Hours after Donald Trump was sworn in as president on Monday, some Instagram and Facebook users started noticing that their accounts were suddenly following Pages associated with the new president, First Lady Melania Trump and Vice President JD Vance.

A number of Facebook and Instagram users have discovered that they were following US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance’s accounts, despite not intentionally doing so. Users on Threads and Reddit claimed they had not previously followed political pages but noticed they were now following Trump and Vance’s accounts.
