Midway through the first quarter of the Minnesota Timberwolves' matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night at Target Center, Edwards handled the ball on the left wing and drove to the hoop. He took off just inside the paint and soared upwards over Thunder center Chet Holmgren to throw down a thunderous dunk.

The Minnesota Timberwolves guard caught the ball on the left wing, took three dribbles toward the basket and rose over the Oklahoma City Thunder center in the first quarter.

In the 2024-25 NBA season alone, the Minnesota Timberwolves guard was fined twice for criticizing officials. The NBA handed down a $75,000 fine after he delivered a rant punctuated with expletives aimed at the refs in December, then was penalized $50,000 for making an obscene gesture at an official in January.
