According to USA Today, Nielsen ratings have shown a 55% drop for the league since Clark injured her quad, and Indiana games are down 53%. On national television, the Fever averaged 1,810,000 viewers prior to her injury and 847,000 viewers in Clark’s absence.
Friday's WNBA slate has a pair of contests, with the Atlanta Dream hosting the Chicago Sky at 7:30 p.m. ET, followed by Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings taking on the Las Vegas Aces at 10 p.m. ET.
The WNBA selects All-Stars from a combination of fan, player, media and coach voting. Fans account for 50% of the initial vote, while player and media selections account for 25% each. The league will then combine all of those scores, and the four frontcourt players and six guards with the top combined votes will become the All-Star starters.
