Ukraine has claimed it shot down a Russian Su-30 fighter jet in the Black Sea using a seaborne drone for the first time.

Russia's overnight drone attack on Kyiv injured at least 11 people, including two children, and set several residential buildings throughout the city on fire, the military and officials of the Ukrainian capital said on Sunday.

KYIV—Ukraine said it downed two Russian jet fighters using sea drones equipped with modified U.S.-made missiles, in what military officials in Kyiv said is the first such attack in the history of warfare.
