S EATTLE — Seattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford was responsible for the first rocket on fireworks night at T-Mobile Park on Friday. The veteran infielder hit a walk-off, two-run home run to right field to lead the Mariners to a 4-3 win over the Texas Rangers.

Seattle’s veteran shortstop turned on a 95-mph inside fastball from Texas closer Robert Garcia and sent it 370 feet out to right field for a two-run walkoff home run in the bottom of the ninth inning, giving the Mariners a stunning 4-3 victory over the rival Rangers.
