Former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders had quite the weekend. Along with dropping to the fifth round (No. 144 overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft, Sanders also became the target of one of the cruelest prank calls in recent memory.

Sanders was ranked as the No. 2 quarterback prospect in the class, following Miami Hurricanes star Cam Ward. Most mock drafts predicted that Sanders would be selected at No. 21 by the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, the Steelers chose Oregon Ducks defensive lineman Derrick Harmon instead.
