New York City woke up Monday morning, Jan. 20, 2025, to a few inches of snow and freezing, icy temperatures, that are expected to last all week.

3-9 p.m. Sunday: The brunt. The quality of the snow starts to change. Previously "warmer" wet flakes will begin to cool and stack up, especially in the coldest areas north and west. Moderate, steady snow. A few stronger bands possible north and west.

Crews are cleaning up the streets across the Tri-State after the snowfall. Right now, there's still a state of emergency in effect. And here in the city, some communities were hit with heavier snow than others.
