Multiple reports have the former Chargers wide receiver, now a free agent, set to meet with team officials nearly 17 months after he was traded to Chicago.

It looks like Keenan Allen and the Chargers could be headed toward a reunion. Allen, 33, will be visiting his former home on Friday, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. There is also “mutual interest” between Los Angeles and the six-time Pro Bowler, per Pelissero.

The Chargers are in need of a wide receiver after Mike Williams' sudden retirement, and Keenan Allen could be their best option at this point.
