Illinois State Police (ISP) have teamed up with HAAS Alert to enhance the safety of their officers through a new technology partnership.

Illinois State Police are still searching for 70-year-old David Jordan, who is wanted for allegedly shooting two police officers in Gibson City and is believed to have fled the scene before his house caught on fire.

Illinois State Sen. Doris Turner said the act will determine "necessary guardrails to ensure we have good officers on our streets."
