As fire crews continue to get a handle on the wildfires in Los Angeles, there are growing concerns over a pair of fires burning further south, in the San Diego area.

Crews were fighting a brush fire that was threatening structures in Rancho Bernardo on Wednesday morning, and evacuations are imminent, according to San Diego Fire-Rescue officials. The fire started shortly before 9 a.m. in the area of Bernardo Center Drive and Camino del Norte, the agency said. It has the potential to reach 100 acres.
