Thousands of people gathered across Michigan Saturday to protest President Donald Trump’s immigration enforcement policies and what they called his broad authoritarian governance.

The protest at Detroit's Clark Park is expected to draw at least 2,000 people and will also feature speeches by Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist and Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib.

Rallies are expected throughout metro Detroit and dozens of other cities in the state from Midland to Muskegon and Milan to Marquette.
