New York Yankees third baseman DJ LeMahieu was reinstated from the injured list to replace Oswaldo Cabrera and will make his 2025 debut soon.

Speaking with reporters on Sunday, Yankees manager Aaron Boone left the door open for LeMahieu to rejoin the team as soon as Monday in Seattle but stopped short of declaring that the veteran infielder has an everyday playing role upon his return.
