Amazon successfully launched 27 more Kuiper satellites Monday, doubling its space internet constellation as competition with SpaceX's Starlink intensifies.
Amazon's third set of operational Kuiper satellites lifted off at 2:30 am EST (06:30 UTC) on Wednesday from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket arced downrange over the Atlantic Ocean, heading northeast to place its payload into the Kuiper constellation at an inclination of 51.9 degrees to the equator.

SpaceX on Wednesday launched the third batch of satellites for its rival Amazon's Project Kuiper designed to provide broadband internet services from space. The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off with 24 satellites at 12 pm IST from Space Launch Complex 40, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
