What a hassle. After trying unsuccessfully to get tickets while at our hotel, we thought we would risk it and see if we could purchase tickets at the gate. At the gate, we were told the only way we …Full review by boleric

If you find Gaudi interesting, this park won't disappoint. Not only are there interesting structures he designed, but the views of the city are great! There is some significant uphill walking involve…Full review by joegW4454ZY
Hola! Gracias!

I am not entirely sure but I think it will be OK to just come early, many places I visited in Barcelona is the same. For instance I had a ticket to the Picasso Museum for 1:30 pm and I came at 12 noon and the guard saw my ticket but did not care it was early, I could go straight in.
We didn't have one and saw everything, including the great views of Sagrada Familia from the top of the site which you probably wouldn't get to to see with a tour
Hi, is it possible to just arrive and pay to enter when you get there? We’re looking to go late afternoon and then go to Carmel bunkers but I can’t seem to see any tickets online for today?

The parc is for the local people to enjoy as well as tourists so they only allow so many tourist tickets per day which you have to get before visiting. You can risk going and see if they have any spaces left but we made this mistake a good few years ago and couldn't get in.
Since guided tours are unavailable during our visit through the official site, do you recommend visitors doing it independently or hiring a 3rd party guide? Thanks!

We read up from guide books before our visit , I wouldn't suggest a guide, we were given a paper map on arrival and they have staff who can tell you where things are. Personally I think its nice to stroll at your own pace and spend as long as you feel necessary. The views are spectacular.
